Q Panel

Q Panel is a self-hosted control panel that Qompera Tech Solutions uses to run its own Linux servers. It gives our administrators one place to manage websites, databases, email accounts, SSL certificates and encrypted off-site backups.

This panel runs on vps.qompera.com. It is not a public sign-up service: only administrators authorised by Qompera Tech Solutions can sign in.

Websites

Create sites, deploy them from Git, and give each site its own isolated system user.

Databases

Create and manage MySQL databases and users, and import or export SQL dumps.

Mail

Manage mail accounts and DNS records for the domains hosted on the server.

Backups

Run scheduled, encrypted backups of server files and databases to the administrator's own Google Drive.

How Q Panel uses Google Drive

An administrator can connect a Google account to store this server's backups in Google Drive. Q Panel asks for these permissions only:

Google Drive (drive.file): to create, read and remove only the backup files that Q Panel itself creates. It cannot see or change any other file in the Drive.
Email address (openid, email): to show which Google account is connected.

Backups are encrypted on the server before they are uploaded. Google data is used only to store and restore this server's backups. It is never sold, shared, or used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
